FAQS

DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?

Recovery Unplugged at Harrison House is in-network with most major insurance companies, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Humana, United Healthcare and more. Our verification team is available to run a confidential check on your specific benefits for substance abuse, so that families and individuals are thoroughly aware of potential out of pocket costs to them before entering into treatment.

HOW LONG IS TREATMENT?

The length of treatment comes down to the progress one makes during the therapy sessions they receive while in treatment and the work they do with their counselor to develop an aftercare plan upon completing treatment.

WHAT TYPES OF TREATMENT DO YOU OFFER?

We offer outpatient, PHP (partial hospitalization), IOP (intensive outpatient), and aftercare, which includes individual sessions with a counselor.

DO YOU OFFER DETOX ON PREMISES?

We coordinate with nearby medical facilities to offer patients detox close to our treatment center. These facilities are staffed with experienced doctors and nurses.

HOW DO YOU USE MUSIC IN TREATMENT?

Music is the purest form of communication there is. It can be a time machine, open us up, and keep us in the present moment. Recovery Unplugged uses music to allow our clients to obtain the most meaningful change they can achieve while in treatment by keeping them present and allowing them to explore their underlying issues that manifested themselves in the addiction to whatever substance they were struggling with in the first place. We do things like open-mic groups, live performance groups, and use music during therapy sessions to help everyone let their guard down to achieve the most meaningful change.

DO YOU OFFER MEDICATION-ASSISTED TREATMENT?

While the goal of substance abuse facilities is to remove all drugs from an individual’s lifestyle, we understand that some medications are necessary for an individual’s wellbeing. Anxiety medications and depression medications can sometimes be used to help stabilize clients to ensure they are comfortable and at ease during treatment. No narcotic medications are allowed or prescribed by the doctors at our facility. We do, however, offer Vivitrol therapy for eligible patients.

WILL MY PRIVACY AND SAFETY BE RESPECTED?

Whenever an individual enters into substance abuse treatment, HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability) law comes into effect. Which, in this regard, will protect all of a client’s personal information, everything from medical and clinical notes, to even the fact of them being in treatment in the first place. Upon admission, clients will sign a release of information form for the family members that they see as fit to be a part of their recovery and allow them to obtain updates on their progress as needed.
